Some of my friends are animals-2

Tusker is back.

It's 7:10pm and pitch dark, the full moon is 36 hours gone. I can't see him but I can hear him grunting and breaking things. Not his usual way, he sounds a bit frustrated with this particular branch. At sunset, he startled and then delighted the guests as he went around camp making it his own by pooing everywhere. Such a powerful sound, a breaking tree so effortless but complete. The amazing thing is that the same animal behind all this destruction is capable of deftly picking one single stalk of long thin veldt grass with the same tool. An elephant's trunk has to be the most dexterous tool available on the market. I digress- the point is, its the coolest thing to experience the strength of an elephant in the dark.
